Come hear the tales of the people and places of East Tennessee as told by the region's favorite storyteller. PAART presents East Tennessee’s favorite storyteller Bill Landry in two very special performances on Friday, September 7, at the Palace Theatre on Main Street in Crossville.
During the special 12:30 pm educational matinee Mr. Landry will guide the audience behind the scenes of The Heartland Series to show us the ins and outs of filming an Emmy award winning television series through the eyes of Host, Narrator, and Co-Producer. This 45-minute matinee will be fun and exciting for students of all ages. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and free admission for students. Reservations for student groups may be made by calling the Palace Theatre at 931-484-6133.
The second performance, “An Evening with Bill Landry”, begins at 7:00 pm central time at the Palace. For the evening performance Mr. Landry will start with the short "The Flower Hunter- William Bartram, an unlikely explorer", He will also tell stories, tales, and relate behind the scene adventures featured in his book, "Appalachian Tales & Heartland Adventures," which is now in it's third printing.

Entry fee is $300 and included with your entry fee is a new pair of FootJoy golf shoes for each team member, 18 holes of golf, food and beverages. There will be Hole-in-One, Long Drive, Accuracy Drive, and Closest to the Pin prizes. There will also be a putting contest with the winner getting a chance to sink a 50 ft putt for a prize worth thousands. Plus one lucky player will get a chance to win a Million dollars! In addition to great golf prizes, the grand champions of the tournament will be presented Champion's Blazers during the awards ceremony.
